Are you tough on yourself?  Do you get mad at yourself when you randomly start thinking about the negatives of life?

Everyone does it. Everyone, at some time or another, will have the mind wander to past experiences or scenarios that feel negative.  And in the moment we recognize that the mind has taken the negative road, we then get upset with ourselves for not catching it sooner.

Did you know when you get upset with yourself for thinking negative, that you are creating more of the same?  So how can you break the pattern?  You can begin by shifting your focus to a more positive thought while letting go of the negative you were thinking of.  But here’s the key; don’t beat yourself up over it. Sure, it can be frustrating to intend one way and then go back into automatic negative like before but now you are aware of it which means you can inner work toward letting go of the old way of thought and embracing a new way of thought.

If you get off track then let go of the negative and resistant vibrations and know that you have the next moment to begin again. Instead of getting down about not catching your negative way, just let go of the thought of ‘doing something wrong,’ and begin again.

Practice truly does make perfect my friend. Just keep practicing shifting your focus from the negative to the positive in your day and your experiences. Find appreciation in your day instead of what seems wrong to you.

Choose a higher more positive vibration and remember that step by step will get you there.

You always have a new moment to create a new way of life.
