There are times that we can get so busy that we forget that it is important to stay conscious of our thoughts and feelings each day. Routine can put us in a state of feeling as if we are doing the same thing day in and day out. When you get set in a routine then you also may be settling for what life is at this moment.

Ask yourself if you are content in life. Ask yourself if you feeling you are moving in a direction that you want to move in. Ask yourself if you are staying conscious of your own inner thoughts and feelings about who you are and who you want to be.  It takes practice and inner work to change old repetitive patterns and create new patterns. It all begins with a choice and then a step.

Be conscious of your habits whether they are mental habits or physical habits. All you have to do is choose a direction and head that way in your thoughts and feelings. Want happiness then choose a direction that makes you happy. If you still aren’t happy then choose a direction mentally that will take you to happiness from within first. There is where the inner work is.
