We can’t protect our children from everything. It’s just not possible; but what we can do is give our children an environment that feels safe, secure, and loved. This will help them to handle experiences that feel less than positive. They will know that no matter what is happening to or around them that they are always safe, secure, and loved at home.

And as they grow older they will find that home is truly where the heart is. They will innately know to go to ‘home’ within when they are not in their physical childhood home.

Children will grow to be adults and the adults will have problems but it is how we teach them as children that will give them the tools to being a safe, secure, and loved adult.
