Have you ever found yourself explaining to someone about your actions or thoughts because you were afraid that they may misjudge you? Does it really matter if they misjudge you? Who you are and what you do should reflect who you want to be. Your goal isn’t about worrying what others might think of you and your choices. Begin with who you are and leave it at that. If someone misjudges you, that is their problem not yours. You don’t have to explain why you are who you are.
If you feel good about who you are and what you do then let others think what they want. If you are in an argument make sure that you are not just wanting to be right in it all.  Talk things through if there is a misunderstanding of some sort but if it is just idle gossip or someone trying to hurt you in some way you don’t need to be a part of it.  There’s no reason to worry about what another thinks. Unless they can see through your eyes and walk in your shoes then they have no idea what your motives are. Only you know. The people that really understand are the ones that matter my friend.
