Oh that ego. It seems to always be in the back of the mind telling us to compare ourselves to others and their lives. It tells us that we have failed when someone does something better or has more than us. Part of our human experience is to find our way back to the center within that knows that no matter what we do, what we say, how we act that we are always enough, we are loved, and we are accepted.
There is no such thing as failure. We make choices at the time thinking it was the best choice and maybe it didn’t turn out just as you thought but what it did do is help guide you to where you are at this very moment. This moment is all that matters. Learn from your experiences and move on even if another isn’t able to in the situation. Don’t let the ego drag you down. Let your spirit lift you up instead.
You are enough, you are loved, and you are accepted.
Are you hiding the true self and living life in a way that really isn’t you because you think that is what everyone wants you to be?
In this world today we have to catch ourselves from becoming what others think we should be. There are so many different ways of being, from how we look to how we experience life. Sometimes we rely on others through the media, friends, or family to tell us who we are.
The only way to be who you are is to live through your beliefs and your experiences from your eyes only. We can look at others and their life to help us figure out what we want or don’t want in our lives but not take on a imitation of what they have because it will remain an imitation unless you make it your own.
Today live the life that you have always wanted. Not because someone told you it was the normal thing to do, not because you are envious of another, and not because you think you will be respected and admired. Live your life from the true self within. The one that is full of joyful passion, abundance, and unlimited thought.
It can be easy to get all wrapped up in what is happening around us, can’t it? From the news and internet to our family members and friends we hear all sorts of negative that creates resistant vibrations. It’s important to see what is happening in the world and around you but look with detachment. This doesn’t mean to detach from caring or nurturing. Just step back from what you are seeing so that you have distance between you and the moment so you can see the bigger picture. Instead of looking at just one facet of the experience step back and look at the experience as a whole. You’ll get a clearer picture of the experience. You’ll be able to understand and learn more about the why of it all. And if you don’t understand then trust that you will know the meaning of it all in the right time.
Do you feel you are happy with who you are or do you worry about what others think of the true you?
It’s important to be happy with you as an individual. It’s your responsibility to walk your own path without making decisions based on what others think. We can listen to what others have to say about life but ultimately it is up to you how you live your life and figure out what is right for you. When you are able to put yourself first and choose your road, you will always be living from your true self within.
Listen to others but then ask yourself if it is something that would work for your life. If it is, then take that vibration on and use the advice to the best of your ability mixed in with your own thoughts and actions of what will work. If the advice just isn’t right for you then move on and find an answer but all the while respecting the advice of another. Just because their thoughts may not work for you doesn’t mean that their advice is a bad idea.
We are individuals. No two humans are alike. We all think, love, live, and feel but we all have different ways of going about it. How about walking side by side with humanity but traveling your own unique road on your own?
How do you express your true self? In this world today we get wrapped up in what others may think or do. We can lose ourselves as we strive to be what is considered ‘the best.’ Expressing the true self doesn’t come through our physical world. It comes from within and radiates out into the physical world. That is when your true self shines.
One of the best ways to express the true self within is being kind to others. Listen to the inner self to learn what is right. Remember that being kind and good has nothing to do with having others approve of you and your actions. Being good has nothing to do with the fear of not being loved in some way. Goodness comes from the true self…always.
It can be easy to get all wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of a new day, can’t it? It’s important to be aware of feelings, thoughts, and actions that might be creating resistant vibrations.
Are you going with the flow of the day or are you trying to control and push your day into existence? There is a difference in your attitude and day when you go with the flow. It’s like a dance. Instead of resisting and flailing about unsure of the rhythm in your step you can relax your mind, go with the flow, and the dance of life will fall perfectly into rhythm creating an effortless and calm day.
Everything you say and everything you do affects someone else. Ask yourself what causes you to say or do something before you act. If your motivation is of pure natural positive spirit from within , then you know that you will affect another in the best positive way possible.
How about being aware of how your actions and words affect another today? Go forward with an intention of positivity and love.
Each evening I take time to just be. I go to that quiet place within where the silence speaks louder than words. That kind of silence creates calm, clarity, and reminds us how truly…all is well. When we tap into that silence we find that our physical life experience becomes much more clear and calm as we learn, grow, and understand more about who we are in the bigger picture.
Silence is amazing, isn’t it? There is something magical about the silence of just ‘being.’ When we sit in a quiet place and listen to the silence we find that it feels alive. In that silence we know that any and every thing is possible. Answers appear where there wasn’t an answer before.
Take a moment each day to sit with silence. That is where you heart speaks loud and clear.
Are you patient and loving with those that you don’t agree with? You see, we all make choices. Some of those choices we agree with and some we don’t. And the same goes for others. They may look at our choices as not being the best even though we think our choice is perfect.
When we step into feelings of frustration, impatience, and upset, we are creating a resistant vibration. That resistant vibration reaches out to others and experiences that will bring you more resistance.
Our resistant feelings are there for a reason. They tell us when we are feeling uncomfortable and coming away from our true nature within. Yes, sometimes those feelings of frustration can create us to act upon something that we normally wouldn’t have and that can be a good thing but if we use our frustration, impatience, or even anger from a place where we intentionally mentally or physically harm another (including yourself), it is coming from the ego self that thinks it needs control. The ego feels unworthy and uses fear and control as a way of possibly making itself feel better. Realize that anger, frustration, and hatred are truly not a part of the true nature of who you are. We can accept and unconditional love another even if they don’t make the same choices as we do.
I’ve heard many say that being positive is ignoring problems we all face in life. Hmmm, I see it a little differently. First of all I believe that every ‘problem’ that we face isn’t negative. Sure, it can feel resistant and upsetting but every problem we face is a chance to rise above the resistant vibrations and reach a place where we feel calm and clear. The place where we know that this is just another experience for us to learn, understand, and grow through, that’s it. We can choose how we feel and think through the experience while dealing with it. We can choose to recognize that the Universe always has our back even during a upsetting experience and that ‘all is well’ at all times according to the spiritual self within. Reach that place within that is connected to the Universe and experience the upsetting moments from the spiritual self having the physical experience. That alone will calm the mind and heart.
Being positive isn’t ignoring or hiding the truth of the matter. Having a positive attitude is a tool to creating a more positive fulfilling life. Just because you have an experience that feels less than positive doesn’t mean that you can’t be positive about the outcome. Even if you are unable to find the positive in an experience just know that it is there. That is enough. When we see life through positive eyes it has a definite strong influence in the direction of our life experiences. We can deal with what we have been dealt in the most positive frame of mind possible.
Inside every seed of fear of ‘no’ there is a ‘yes.’ Inside that fear seed is everything that you don’t want to understood, what you don’t want to accept, and what you don’t want to hear or even see. Look into your fear. Look deeper. What is it that you don’t want to understand, accept, hear or see? This is a perfect time to be honest with yourself. When you look deep enough you will find the ‘secret’ you have been looking for to breakdown your fear. Inside fear is a scared vibration of ‘what if.’ How about calming it and trusting the Universe that what you fear is nothing compared to how empowered you will be when you get beyond the fear.
Have you ever listened to others and let their vibration tell you how to feel? Have you ever taken in someone’s vibration and didn’t listen to your inner self first?
Look within yourself before believing what another tells you. Does it feel right ‘within?’ You don’t have to create illusions from someone’s story. Go within yourself and feel the truth.
Everyone has a past…everyone. And everyone has past moments that they just can’t seem to ‘let go’ of. There is a way to let go of the past.
It’s important to forgive yourself for any and everything that you may have felt bad about. Know that, whatever happened, was necessary for the experience and that you can release any resentment and regret. Take those negative feeling vibrations and replace them with appreciation and gratitude in what you have learned from the experience. Once you have forgiven yourself then do the same for any and everyone who you feel may have hurt you in some way. Letting go of any kind of negative vibration is essential to a peace and calm filled inner and outer life.
It’s my first thought of each day. I do my best to create kindness as the day unfolds. When you focus on being kind and being positive it becomes a conscious manifesting thought and feeling to everyone around…including you. Create your day from within where kindness, love, and joy are never ending.
How about being a shining light today? How about creating kindness to all you see. Maybe spread some smiles and encouraging words that you normally wouldn’t say out loud. How about going about your day with the intention of kindness and positivity in your heart, mind, and body? What a great way to be…
The other day, Peanut and I were talking about the purpose of wasps. She said, “I get the food chain, I get prey and predator, I get the purpose of each animal and their life but I don’t get a wasp. I think they’re just mean. What could their purpose even be? Is it to be mean?”
We had a good laugh. I explained to her that we don’t always know the purpose of another but every life has purpose, even if they make choices that are just out right mean. We can learn from the ‘mean’ in life. We learn how not to be, we learn about how to step away, we learn that we don’t have to be a part of it if we choose. It’s important to keep an open mind when it comes to others. Sure, there are stinkers out there but we can choose whether to let their vibration affect us. We can rise above the ‘stinker vibration’ and reach a level of acceptance and unconditional love creating an even stronger positive vibration for our life. Each day keep an open mind and heart so that you can learn new lessons that come your way within an experience. Your lessons in life may help another that may have the same experience as you but can’t quite figure how to get past it. Your experience and lesson could help another with an easier transition.
Keep in mind to create happiness around you. If ever you feel that your intentions are not coming from an open mind and heart then action shouldn’t be taken. Always come from an open heart and mind and creating kindness and happiness to those (and yourself) around.
We are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are so much more than our body. We are truly an infinite powerful being living in a temporary vessel to experience through. We don’t have to idolize our bodies or material things. We’d be missing the whole point. When we focus too much on the material and physical in this life we are shrinking away from who we truly are. We are taking power away from what we truly came here to experience. All that is around us helps us to open up and grow a little more from within. It’s nice to have material things and enjoy them and it’s nice to have a body that works well. It’s important to respect and be grateful for your body and take care of it but it isn’t the end all be all. It is your vessel just like material things are vessels to enjoy and learn from.
Let’s remember that the physical things are tools to the work we are doing here in this life experience.

There’s a point where you just have to accept yourself for who you are without any judgments. You don’t have to hide behind a mask of who you think you should be, you don’t have to be perfect according to some ideal that you have or that another has, you don’t have to keep secret who you truly are, or even reject a part of who you are.
You are a person of worth just as you are. Just ‘be’ you my friend.
When you resist the feelings that bubble up inside you, you’re letting your feelings and thoughts get the best of you. They’ll end up ruling your day and even your mind. There’s nothing wrong with having feelings my friend. And there is nothing wrong with expressing them. When you stop the flow of an emotion it wells up ‘within’ you keeping it trapped and you feel agitated, upset, and frustrated. Let your feelings free but in a healthy way. Set them free through talking it out, exercise, or whatever works for you. Just don’t take them out on someone. Get those feelings out in the most productive way possible and then go with the flow from there. Then, when you are in a better feeling space, you can understand and grow from the experience from ‘within’ and take it from there.
You are here to understand, learn, and grow through your life experience. Know that mistakes are just a part of being human. And… are they really mistakes? At the time, you feel it was the best way to handle life but then you realize that maybe it wasn’t down the road. Think about where that ‘mistake’ took you. Think of all that you learned through the experience. When you use the knowledge of what you have learned then it was no longer a mistake. It was just another road that was needed to get you to where you are right now.
Forgive yourself of your past mistakes and move on. They are just a part of your journey my friend.
How about you go about your day with an open heart and mind? Be open to every experience that comes your way. Live each experience in the moment of now. Trust the day to unfold as it should. Don’t second guess any part of your day. There’s nothing to be afraid of. When we hang on to resistance in the form of fear or trepidation it only weighs on your shoulders and weighs you down.
Step into your experiences with an open heart and mind and live them with a glad heart. No resistance is necessary. You can go about the day and deal with what needs to be dealt with but release any fear or worry of what ‘could be.’ You can change that ‘could be’ through your positive thoughts and feelings. Instead of going about the day worrying about any and every thing, you can go about your day assuming the best and most positive outcome. And if a negative experience rears its head then do what you can to relieve it but then let it go. Don’t let the thoughts of the negative experience take over your day.
Get back up, brush yourself off, and let go creating a more positive vibration which, in turn, creates a more positive life experience.
