Fear can have a powerful effect over our life experience. Our thoughts can create something that isn’t even possible yet bring us to a feeling and reaction of fear but there is something you can do about it. You can envision in a way that will help your mind to let go of those fearful thoughts. Envision fear as a bird…yes, a bird. See that you have put it in a cage. What kind of fear is it? Is it a fear of not having enough or maybe the fear of never being loved? Whatever the fear is give the bird an image, the sounds and movements it may make, that embodies what fear means to you. Now…open the cage and let the fear bird free releasing it from your very mind and conscious. Feel what it feels like to no longer have that fear within you. Make an effort to release as many as you need to knowing that you have set your fears free.
Fear is no longer my first thought when it comes to the unpredictable in the life experience because of this visualization. When I first used this visualization I had pictured fear as a black crow that keep cawing and cawing not listening to anything I had to say. Then…when I let it out of the cage it transformed into a beautiful blue bird and thanked me for letting it go.
