Today give yourself some compliments.  Tell ‘you’ what a good job you are doing experiencing life.  It is only your praise that matters…not the appreciation of others.  You see the Universe is continually encouraging you but sometimes we choose not to listen.  Maybe we are too busy to look up or maybe we’re not comfortable with our worth but for whatever reason remember to honor yourself and really tell yourself that you are doing the best that you can.  Know that you are at this point in your life and acknowledge what you have experienced to get here.  Acknowledge all the little steps that you are taking to create the life you want.

Lee, Peanut, and I went to the merchantile last night to pick up some milk and just to take a drive.  When we went in,  everyone said ‘hello’ as we walked the aisles. We went up to the counter and the cashier recognized Peanut.

“Hey, did you go to the school concert the other night?”

Peanut: “Concert?”

“Well…if THAT’S what you call it.  The whole school was there to sing…all twenty of them!”

Peanut laughed and said, “Oh, the sing thing at the school.  I did go.”

The cashier raised her eyebrow.  “Well…how did YOU like it?  Man…it sounded horrible.”

Peanut thought for a moment.  “Did it sound bad?  I didn’t notice.  I just noticed how much fun they were having.  It made me smile.”  She picked up her bag of goodies.  “Have a nice day!”  Flipped her hair back, hummed a little tune, and walked out the door.

Lee and I followed.

Note to self:  Listen for the  positive no matter how the song is sung.
