Do you find yourself, out of the blue, worrying and don’t even realize you’re doing it until you have yourself all worked up into a frenzy?  Or do you ever find yourself getting impatient for no reason? Here’s something you can do to put focus into your emotions.

When you start your day write down the word ‘grateful’ anywhere that you will see it all day long. No matter what the day holds, remember to think of something grateful in every situation. 

For example: You wake up and the dog has chewed your favorite shoe. Think how grateful you are for the joy your dog provides you.   Locked the keys in the car?  Focus on how grateful you are to have someone to come help you unlock it.

The next day, focus on joy.  Think about ‘the wonderful’ in every situation.  Continue this until instead of your mind wandering and focusing to worry or impatience, it will begin to naturally wander and focus on being grateful and how wonderful life can be.  Try it with as many positive emotions as you can through out the month.

We are all in this together on this Earth.  We are all experiencing different perceptions that are just right for each of us.  The more we focus on the ‘half glass full’ the more your life will be just as you want.
